Thermal and waterproof insulation works were completed for 14500 m² of the new metal roof at G Warehouse, Arma Detergents & Soap, using a polyurethane foam system with acrylic protective coating and water gutter insulation — ensuring superior protection, efficiency, and longer roof life.
EMC carried out the thermal and waterproof insulation works for a newly constructed metal roof at Warehouse G of Arma Detergents & Soap Company using a Polyurethane Foam (PU Foam) insulation system as part of a comprehensive roof protection solution for the industrial facility.
The project began with thorough surface preparation, including cleaning the roof and removing dust and debris, followed by riveting and fastening works to ensure structural stability before insulation. A 30 mm (±5 mm) layer of Polyurethane Foam was then spray-applied, followed by a UV-resistant acrylic protective coating. In addition, the roof drainage channel was reinforced and waterproofed using a polyester system reinforced with fiberglass mesh, providing extra protection for the areas most exposed to water accumulation.
