Poultry Farm Wall Insulation Project Using Polyurethane Foam

Across 695 m², thermal and waterproof insulation works were completed for the walls of Al Baraka Battery Poultry Farm using Polyurethane Foam, followed by a protective coating against UV exposure and weather conditions.

EMC carried out thermal and waterproof insulation works for 695 m² of walls at Al Baraka Battery Poultry Farm in Qallabsho – Gamasa, for Al Baraka Poultry.

The works included spray application of Polyurethane Foam across the building walls and passage areas, followed by a final white protective coating to protect the insulation system from UV exposure and weather conditions and provide uniform wall coverage.

Scope of Work

Inspection of the building walls.
Preparation of the walls for thermal and waterproof insulation works.
Spray application of Polyurethane Foam to the upper wall sections.
Continuation of foam spraying across passage walls and lower sections.
Formation of a continuous thermal and waterproof insulation layer.
Application of the final protective coating over the foam.
Protection of the insulation system against UV exposure and weather conditions.
Final white finishing of the walls.
Final inspection and handover.

The Challenge

The main challenge was carrying out thermal and waterproof insulation works across different wall areas, including upper sections, passageways, and lower sections, while ensuring uniform insulation coverage and effective protection against weather conditions.

The Solution

Polyurethane Foam was spray-applied across the building walls to create a continuous thermal and waterproof insulation layer. A final white protective coating was then applied over the foam to protect it from UV exposure and weather conditions.

The Result

The project successfully delivered an integrated thermal and waterproof insulation system for the walls of Al Baraka Battery Poultry Farm, helping reduce heat transfer and protect the walls against water leakage and weather conditions while providing a clean, uniform final finish.
